Gather network upgrades to DePIN 2.0 protocol

Dear Gather global miners and community members:

In order to optimize the network ecology, improve the fairness of computing power distribution and encourage long-term participation, the Gather network will officially launch the DePIN 2.0 protocol upgrade on May 16, 2025. This upgrade will reconstruct the computing power allocation mechanism, and the specific adjustments are as follows:

I. Adjustment of computing power allocation rules
1. Retain the original allocation mechanism
GMT basic computing power (30%): Maintain the existing rules and divide it equally according to the real-time status of online mining machines across the network.
Super node computing power (5%): Continue to implement the token lock-up rules, and participate in super nodes to meet KPI requirements.

2. DPoS computing power structure adjustment (original 65% → split into two parts)
Free DPoS computing power (35%): Includes associated computing power and consensus computing power, open to all miners for flexible participation.
GF locked DPoS computing power (30%): Only miners who join the CF (Consensus Family) consensus family can participate.

2. Details of the new computing power mechanism
1. Associated computing power (promotion incentive)
Rule description: When a miner account votes 2,000 votes, the following additional weight bonuses can be obtained:
- 10% of the total votes of first-level miners directly promoted;
- 5% of the total votes of second-level miners directly promoted.
Association relationship: The original device address will be open to fill in the referrer address in the future for rebinding the association relationship, so stay tuned

2. Consensus computing power (coin holding stability reward)
Daily reward: When the account has no on-chain transfer, the computing power will increase by `1/365` times every day, up to a maximum of 2 times (need to hold coins for 365 consecutive days).
Voting limit increase: The upper limit will increase by 100 votes every natural month, and the upper limit will be increased to 4,400 votes (initial 2,000 votes) after 24 months.
Reset rules: If the account triggers a transfer operation, all accumulated days and voting limit value-added will be reset to zero and need to be accumulated again.

3. GF locked computing power (CF family exclusive)
Participation conditions: You need to join the CF consensus family and lock 2,000 GAT tokens. The lock-up period is 365 days, and it will be automatically unlocked and exited after the expiration.
Income distribution: According to the proportion of locked tokens in the GF pool of the entire network, 30% of the total output will be distributed daily.

III. Precautions and operation guidelines
1. Upgrade time: The new mechanism will take effect at 0:00 (UTC+8) on May 17, 2025. Please confirm in advance whether the node is online and operating normally.
2. Risk warning:
- Locked accounts that join the CF consensus family will receive higher computing power rewards, but they cannot be redeemed in advance during the lock-up period.
- Please avoid account transfers during the accumulation of consensus computing power. It is recommended to use independent addresses to manage long-term assets.
3. Community support: If you have any questions, please contact the agent community of your country or submit inquiries through the official work order system.
